About the house

I'm not sure about the construction year of this house, however, it is said in the village that dates back to 1901.

Acquired in 2002, has been slowly, the target of numerous works, recovery, reconstruction, as well as extension, safeguarding throughout the process, the original architectural.

The country passion goes back to my childhood, thanks to the excellent weekends spent at my uncles farm in Rio Maior, on the company of my parents and cousins.

Already in adulthood, the best memory and nostalgia, it was the smell of freshly fireplace ablaze.
So, when I got into the house, in the middle of summer, I asked the neighbors a few logs of wood and had lighted up my fireplace, merely bearable with the front door and all the windows wide open.

A casa é a primeira duma aldeia pacata de nome Buscanhas, sendo que, apenas tem vizinhos de um dos lados, a minha "familia" alentejana.

O resto é paisagem com vinhas e oliveiras.Em 2012 adquiriu o estatuto e a licença de Alojamento Local.É com bastante orgulho e carinho, que dedico este blog, a todos os que queiram partilhar e privar, do ambiente desta casa e, dos excelentes momentos de lazer que ela proporciona.
